As an artist I use instinctive processes within my practice often led by the materials used. I like to experiment with a multitude of materials and techniques such as weaving , basketry, woodworking to create installation and semi sculptural work. I am fascinated with memories and the traces we leave behind. Recent projects have led me to be more socially engaged about my responsibilities as an artist. During lockdown, I’ve looked at minimising waste food packaging by recycling them to use as art material keeping their shapes intact. I have since drawn a series of doodles/ patterns. Some of these patterns were also printed on fabrics & face masks.
